Founded by Swedish-couple, Jari and Anna Visuri in 2008, Skargaarden originates from a small Swedish town on the Baltic coast known as Gävle. With its harsh climate and inclement weather, the scarcity of daylight and warmth act as the driving force behind Skargaarden’s design philosophy.
Crafting outdoor furniture that can withstand everything that nature throws at it, their designs exude a sense of effortlessness that’s almost provocative (a lightheartedness even) and a character defined by pure craftsmanship in production and material selection. Truly Scandinavian, yet globally inspired, Skargaarden believes that less really is more.
